President/Principal
Bob graduated from Tri-State University in Angola, Indiana, in 1977 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in business administration, with a dual major of accounting and marketing. He started his insurance career with James (Hook) Birdsong at Southlife in 1978. He earned his Charter Life Underwriter (CLU) designation in 1986 and Charter Financial Consultant Designation in 1987. Bob is also a Life Underwriter Training Fellow of Counsel.
Bob has served on the Blue Cross Advisory Council and is a preferred broker for several companies that he represents. He is recognized as an expert in employee benefits and estate planning.

Nicky Foley
Office Manager
Nicky Foley serves as the Office Manager of The Babcock Agency. She brings over 20 years of managerial experience to the group with the majority of those at several major universities. She came to Rome from The University of Kansas where she was a member of the staff at the Business School.
She attended Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas, and Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee. As the wife of a career military pilot, she has lived in nine different states including Hawaii and two foreign countries.
Nicky still loves to travel, but claims there’s no place like home.

Barry Wright
Broker/Account Rep
Barry has been with the Babcock Agency since the opening in August of 2006. He is a licensed agent who specializes in individual Life and Health Insurance. Recently he has joined the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. He has been involved in Life and Health Insurance since January of 2006. Before joining the Babcock Agency he was an agent at Liberty National in Rome, GA.
Barry was born and raised in Rome, GA. He enrolled in Shorter College in the fall of 2000 and graduated with a Bachelor in Business Administration with a concentration in management in spring of 2005. While at Shorter College he was a scholarship athlete on the golf team.
In his spare time he enjoys playing golf and working out. He is an active member at Horseleg Plantation Country Club and Club Fitness Gym.
